*_* I love all the SaGas so much (even the janky ones) that it REALLY makes me happy when I see someone else that appreciates at least one - but Romancing SaGa? ILU. :D

YESSSSSS it distresses me how few people have played Romancing SaGa. It has its flaws but god it's still just so refreshingly different from most of the stuff I've played. And I swear, if Squeenix put half as much love into Final Fantasy remakes as it does into the SaGa remakes, instead of just crapping out ports on every system... I'm so sad we didn't get the SaGa 2 and 3 remakes for DS on this side of the pond, they're amazeballs.

I know! I've played the original Romancing SaGa on the SFC (well, a ROM, anyway) and the PS2 version fixed up most of the issues that it had while bringing the gameplay in line with the rest of the series, and although it has to be one of the harder games difficulty-wise, I've said for a long time that the PS2 Romancing SaGa is how remakes SHOULD be made rather than "slap some updated graphics on it, fix some bugs people knowingly exploit for things like the Four Job Fiesta, it's done", Final Fantasy 5 on iOS. I'm still hoping for a new game someday or at least a polished remake of RS2/3.

Ah hell, now you've made me want to play the SaGa 3 remake. Those two remakes were awesome (though I wish they updated the Esper magic system in the SaGa 2 remake).

hhhnnnggg yes the PS2 version of RS was really a shining example of remakes done right, I think!

And I may have been crying into plurk today about how I can't wait for Four Job Fiesta to start so every comment you make I am loving you a little more, sob.

sob I did it for the first time last year and I'm screaming about how I don't want a chemist in my party again because item farming is boring I'm so hype for FJF. Someone who understands!
